DON'T EVER GET A TATTOO FROM THE HOUSE OF INK!!! Unless of course you wanted it to look like shit within a week. I got my second tattoo over Christmas break. I always go to Threshold for piercings and tattoos and what not, but my friends had went to house of ink and told me to check it out because they were good and cheaper. So I got my tattoo the day I left to come back to school and let me tell you today (exactly a week later) it looks like I've had the tattoo for 20 years! I'm sooooo pissed and now I have to get it completely redone. I went to one of the shops here in Kirksville and the guy just laughed at me and said it looked like I did it myself! Honestly I think I would've rather gotten a tattoo from a homeless guy with a rusty heroine needle. :-(
(just so i can explain further it's a jesus fish with initials in the middle on my wrist, the art itself looks like shit, but it is supposed to be all baby blue with a little purple highlight and instead it's all more of a pinkish color and all the lines are faded and inconsistent)It's just horrible!
Anyway back to school... classes are pretty good. I'm in a 400 level psychology class I'm the only freshman with ALL jr's and sr's. It's kind of intimidating, but the professor is really cool and the class seems fun. Other than him, most of my proffessors are on crack I think. They're pretty weird, like in justice systems today she was telling us how you never know what's going to happen when you're a cop and there's a chance you'll miss lunch... she missed so many lunches blah blah blah.... WHO CARES!! I mean if someone in the class was wanting to be a cop I garuntee that after this class they weren't like "FUCK THAT I have to have lunch." hahaha Anyway work is... I don't know, I got my hours cut so that sucks, but I think I might go look for an off-campus job for the evenings and weekends. Well other than that things are cool break was good and I'm glad to be back! Now I'm going to go call House of Ink and get my money back so I can go to Threshold and get my shitty tat redone
