Yes indeed good buddies, this is the first day that I have actually had to my own lonesome self in... oh, about two months. I'm enjoying it immensely.
First act of the day was to see Lindsay off to work, and then go back to sleep, taking care not to roll over and squash the dog too often. After that, cleaned up the random trash from Christmas (we've both been sick and unwilling to do much of anything) and built a little truck out of Lego. The dog cares little for it, but has been busy trying to dig a treat out of some wierd looking rubber toy that I'm pretty sure is made out of the same material as some of your higher-quality 'marital aids'. Either way, it's durable as hell, so that works.
The next item on my agenda is to get my shirts clean for tomorrow, and possibly build a little house. Final Fantasy and Fallout 3 figure heavily into the afternoon activities.
For the moment though, gems like this are keeping me entertained...
"Finally, in what some economists see as a troubling sign, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac invest $12.7 billion in Powerball tickets."
Yes, Dave Barry's Year in Review is up, and as funny as always. Check it out at the Miami Herald's site.
OK, I'm off to take out the dog and the garbage and settle down to a nice episode of Stargate.
