Today was a good day. My mother had to work from 11-11 and Kimberly won't be here until wednesday night, but we still had a nice celebration. I woke up later than everyone else as always. i'm probably the weirdest girl ever because that verse of submission to a husband is my favorite. Not for any reason except my interpretation of it and how someone once explained to me.

It says a wife should submit to her husband...and then it charges men to love their wives. So in that submission of myself to my husband, it is not how the world views it, meaning it doesn't mean that I do EVERYthing my husband says and I'm his slave. I just look to my husband as my protector and guide that God's provided for me. And with the consideration of the statement that follows of men to love their wifes as their own body or something even...is saying that anything they guide us to or ask of us, is out of love for our mind/body/soul! it's beautiful!

don't you think it goes the same for them too? i mean .... like the guy needs a little guidance as well. i dont know... it says in the beggineing that we should submit to each other. i dont think it is meant to be all one way. so i guess i agree with you ( ... )
