Duuude.
So. We're getting cable television tomorrow. For the first time in my life, I will have cable at home. I am more excited than I should be, probably.
I'm liking doing this radio station stuff. I'm really liking my apartment too. I'm really happy, like in a generally, overall kind of way for the first time in a while. I am also really looking forward to starting school again. I feel like I've prepared myself mentally for the past year for it, a la reading a lot more, getting into better habits, ya know. I've grown up a bit.
We are fixing up the kitchen. In little ways that won't break our rental agreement, but make things much easier to cook and look at and generally feel comfortable while in that room. I'll post pictures when it's complete.
Also, we swapped out the old ugly white toilet seat in the bathroom for a wooden one. It adds way more to the vintage appeal. I love it! I love simple things that have a big effect.
Also, on Sunday i got my neighbor arrested. Well, the guy who lives across the street from us in another building. He was driving drunk, with an open beer in his hand, AND had his 5 year old kid in the car with him. He tried to parallel park his car, but smashed into the car behind him, and then the one in front. I sat on my couch looking out the window in horror. So, I called the cops, and they must have already had a warrant or something for him, because they came right to his apartment and took him away in handcuffs. I feel so sorry for that little boy.
