Ten Years!
Todays is the 10th anniversary of the first day Jenni and I met each other. It seems like a strange mix of just like yesterday and ten years. It's amazing how much our lives have changed over this span of time and I can't wait to see how many more changes are in store. We are both much better people thanks to each other bringing out the best in ourselves. We went from living in a couple of rooms in a house with a bitter bitchy old Italian lady working two minimum wage jobs to owning our own house, getting married and seeing a hefty increase in household income. No kids yet but that's sure to come someday.
Jenni's nephew Ryan is staying for a few days so we've been having some fun watching some movies, South Park and laughing at his brother's expense. He brought over a box set of the entire South Park collection so I'm ripping them all to put onto my new big-ass hard drive. It's still working like a charm and I'm very happy with the whole thing. I'll finally not have to worry about storing and cataloging and alphabetizing all those freaking disks.
I'm still working on that new painting I mentioned before and I may have to put that one on hold because my old schoolmate, Tiffany emailed me yesterday and told me that she's getting her pictures taken for the three paintings that she commissioned me to do. Her and her husband are going to have a light Christmas this year so they decided to get each other some very personal tattoos and one other gift that has alot of personal meaning. She wants me to do three paintings of her in various sensual/sexy poses but nothing nude or raunchy. After seeing alot of my other work she has entrusted this job to me so I hope I meet her expectations. Another friend of mine had told me a couple months ago that she wants a painting of herself as well but as of now she hasn't settled on a style or pose. I'm not holding my breath but I haven't ruled it out yet. I'm in no rush as these three paintings for Tiffany will take up my primary attention since she's paying me and it's first come first serve.
The weather has been alot warmer than it has been lately it's steadily climbing every day. Today was in the 80's and clear. Tomorrow should be sunny with a slight chance of doom.
