Today I Saw a Sign...
Today the door swung shut on me when I was digging through the back freezer for sandwich supplies at my work. Naturally, because I was a child raised in a time of repetative tv zitcoms, I began to panic. All of my coworkers were in the lobby, and the lunchtime rush was just starting! And not only was there no handle on the door, but also it was just thick enough to drown out any noises I could make inside the freezer. And I was cold! And, horror of horrors, people wouldn't get their avocado slices!
And then, just as I was beginning to hyperventilate, as if somewhere a guardian angel rolled its eyes in exasperated acceptance, I looked at the door and noticed a bright yellow sticker with big black letters reading, "YOU ARE NOT LOCKED IN."
