(no subject)
so i'm an aunt. again. i guess.
my nephew came 2 weeks early. francis angel placencia on March 6th, 2008 at 3:29a.m. 6 pounds 13.5 ounces and 20 inches long. and i made my brother describe was an episiotomy is. haha. that was kick ass. it's fun to make little brothers squirm.
work has been kicking ass lately. i've been getting a lot done and i am really starting to like my new room. and i really like working with linda all the time. we make a good team. i love working with the oldest kids at the center. they pretty much play on their own and i can get some work done like putting up shit on the walls.
tony and i fixed up the bikes. it's awesome. i can take apart and put together a bike. including handle bars, seat, tires, etc. but i can do adjustments too. my rear tire was rubbing against the chain guard, but i adjusted the way the tire was sitting on the frame and was able to stop the rubbing. i wish i had more opportunities to work on bikes. i never realized it but i like fixing things and putting things together. i love ikea, partly because i love putting together the furniture. my bookcases, my coffee table... i wonder if i would have liked engineering, with the math and the building stuff.
p.s. things with pretty awesome with tony. he pretty much gets me. right now he's baking cookies. so i should bake pies this weekend. because i meant to today and well... it didn't happen. heh. but this weekend, sometime after the thrift store shopping with shaun. i'm still getting used to tony working all weekend... and now cinequest is over. i should start sewing again. i have ideas. lots. and i need to visit francis.
