okay, so i feel it's time for a much needed update on this here lj thing.
we'll start with the high points in my life... pseudo list style. ready, nnnnGO...
-i have a fabulous job.
-i am the assistant manager of this fabulous job.
-i have only been there since december. the hours are long and busy, i do more hair than i really wish to EVER touch/see/smell/eat or live. yet the pay is "bank."
-the first weekend in May Stephanie and i drove to Tulsa, Oklahoma to visit my very best friend The Meliss. we had the most amazing weekend (mostly spent in a car however.) i met a boat load of her new friends which i absolutely adore. we went camping, drank all five backstreet boys' weight in beer. slept in and on many surfaces i otherwise wouldn't have. but all in all it was amazing.
-the last weekend in May, Stephanie, Sally, Aspen, and i drove to St. Louis for Stephanie and Aspen's birthdays. the 25th (friday) was her 27th birthday. i bought her the most beautiful platinum, diamond ring, which she so proudly wears. the friday when we got there we went to a Cardinals game. spent ridiculous amounts of money on beer at the ball park. got stupid drunk, went back to our hotel (to which has a bar attached.) went to that little bar, danced and drank ourselves pretty close to stupid. ate white castle at god awful hours of the morning and passed out. Saturday we went to Six Flags. it was so amazingly fun. i do feel though, that we shouldn't have really drank as much the night before going to an amusement park.. yet we did. we bought scratcher tickets, Sally and Aspen won their money back on them, i won 40 bucks, and my beautiful girlfriend won 300 dollars. sunday we drove home.
-the first weekend in june (this month) was Kansas City's Pride festival. this year was quite odd for me, seeing's how i was "coupled up." although i am super happy that i was, to be extremely honest there was NOT a single lesbian there that was remotely attractive, nor up to par for my level of "dig." Friday night was the street blast. Stephanie and i got an alright parking spot, drank a six pack in the car, then walked down to Main Street. i saw many friends i haven't seen in a solid moment of time. it began to rain so we decided that it was a wonderful idea to go to the Toot (Tootsie's bar on Main, for those that aren't familiar.) so that's what we did. we hung out and drank a bit more. saw Roxie and Julie! that was a blast seeing them. what was said to you guys was a bit of a blur, i was pretty drunk by this time. after all of this we decided that we needed a bit of a pick-us-up party get-r-going... so i drove all the way to Missy B's looking for Desiree Luv. couldn't find her ass there... so drove all the way back to Tootsie's... waited in the parking lot for about an hour and a half for her half drunk titty showing drag queen/tranny ass to show up.. finally she does and i bought 80 dollars of the most "watered down" if you will, coke i've ever had in my life. but it did the trick, and we had some left over for saturday too. yes so onto saturday.. we met up with Tosha and Amy, sat around played with my pup Hope. drank some more beer, met up with the Meliss, her on again-off again girl Lori and a few of the Brazilians, went to Tootsie's again, got the meliss "fucked up" haha, love you kid... TRUST next time i'll have better shit. went back to Yaya, Amber and Jennifer's place, ate like fat kids, came home and passed out. Sunday was strictly water, starbucks, and cigarette day. Stephanie and i sat in our chairs, chilled with Micah, The Meliss, and Lori. end of pride.
-yesterday was Stephanie and i's 11 month anniversary. however we're so old and married we both forgot til today. meh, it happens.. just hope we don't forget it next month. that's the one year bitches! i think we're going to go out to a really nice dinner, then go to the boats. accordingto her horoscope her luckiest day of the year in Gemini is 11 and 12 of July. so we hope to win big.
-one of my drag brother's which i've known for many years now, Mel Dawdey "Anthony" and i have became really close friends. that's always nice. we hang out a lot. and i enjoy our time.
-tomorrow brings more work.
