(no subject)
so here's an update on all things little.
the new year has been a very good one thus far. for starters i got a new job. i like it very much. i hate the company i was forced to work for. but it's a brand new salon, and it's a franchise so it's a bit better than actually working for them as a corporation. i love the girls i work with. we met, and completely clicked. they're so much fun to be around, we laugh constantly, and it makes the day go by just that much faster.
the 26th of december i had my KC Kingz reunion show. i haven't performed much for the past few months. i needed a break, and a much needed vacation from the bar. that place has a wonderful way of chewing you up and spitting you as far as eye can see. i hate the small crowd that is there. i love a few of them, but i just hate everyone and their mom knowing EVERYTHING that happens in my life, sometimes before i know it. so this break has been splendid. the reunion show was amazing. i had such a great time. i performed The Deftones "Change." made a shit load of money, then Sally, Aspen, Adam, Lesa, Stephanie, Laine and i danced the night away.
as new year's eve hit i was closing Pizza Hut (her work) with Stephanie. they got super busy that evening and NOTHING got done. so we took a small break from cleaning at midnight to count down, and of course kiss. then it was back to washing dishes. we got out of there around 1 or 1:30am. we went to Sally's for a glass of bubbly. we had about half a glass each then called it a night. Stephanie and i went home, cuddled with our cat and watched the rest of the Law and Order: SVU marathon.
yesterday was Stephanie and i's 7 month anniversary. i had to work at 9am, and she had class at 9am. so we didn't see one another, but that's not really what matters. i'm completely in love with the most amazing woman. she's beautiful, kind, loving, and pretty much everything in between. our bond now is stronger than it has ever been. we compliment one another on every level imaginable. it's truly perfect.
well you're now pretty much caught up with my life. not much has really changed, except for my bed time and alcohol consumption. i rarely drink anymore. and when i do, i don't wish to drink to get drunk. crazy eh? who knew? as per the bed time, well it's now between 9:30-11pm. i'm officially old. i wake up at 6am on my own, no alarm needed. my how the times have changed. and for the better might i add.
those of you i haven't seen in quite sometime, i must apologize. i miss many of you VERY much. but life goes on, and sometimes friendships just don't last like you thought they would.
