Getting screwed by the insurance company! That's what's going on now. Who knew that maternity services are all billed together after you deliver your baby. If you switch insurance carriers in the middle, the new carrier is supposed to cover all the charges. If your new carrier doesn't cover your delivery, you get nothing. You can't bill for just prenatal care. We're going to fight it, but it doesn't look good.
Otherwise in life, things are good. Sophie is getting over her cold and it's a beautiful day. I tried to contact my college friend by looking him up in the phone book. I called the number and the message said "If I know you, leave a message. If I don't, leave me alone." or something to that effect. I had to say "I'm not sure if I know you or not." Anyway, I hope it was him and I hope he calls me back. I've been in the mood for reconnecting with friends.
