whatever lies beyond this morning is a little later on
karaoke was fun. HAHAHA i sang utada hikaru's "hikari" (the japanese version of "simple and clean" from kingdom hearts), even though i didn't know the lyrics. i kinda just read off the screen. you know what the good thing about singing k with people who don't know japanese is? ... when in doubt, you can bullshit everything. there's a part in "hikari" that goes too fast for me to read it; i was just making random noises and people bought it. HAHAHA. they were wondering why i kept giggling while singing.
i just finished watching el orfanato? my housemate thinks i'm mad for watching a horror movie in the dark. thing is, i don't really think that EO was a horror movie? it was classified as such, but i think it's really more of a supernatural mystery/suspense, with two bloody scenes. the ending was bittersweet, and to be honest i'm a little torn about its 'peter pan' vibe, 'cause i love peter pan but i hate 'happy' endings in horror movies. idk. i enjoyed it, though, so go watch it, i guess. it's a good horror in that it has a great plot and doesn't go for cheap jump scares. plus, the twist is fantastic.
