Not very ladyllike!
So that's little Morgana now nearly 11 weeks old. She's getting bigger and bolder by the day. Braver about where she'll go, climbing higher, jumping from higher spots. She's starting to look less and less kittenish and more like a little cat. She'll still go behind the sofa if she's overwhelmed or gets a scare but it's pretty infrequent now.
She's definitely decided I'm mummy cat. Every morning I get stamped and kneaded and her latest is to bury her head under my hair and nuzzle my neck licking and kneading. Lovely, except a little clawed paw in your throat is a tad uncomfortable :) She'll then lie on my chest or shoulder for a bit, or like now, on my right arm as I try to type. It's only when she's in these moods that she'll lie on you, the rest of the time she's happier on her cushion beside you. Much to his annoyance, she won't lie on Aidy at all. He seems to be for playing with not cuddling. But she does sleep on his pillow above his head at night.

She's an independent wee so and so with little fear and seriously stubborn. I don't have much cat personality comparison to go by, but Aidy says she's more independent, maybe even a little arrogant, than any of his previous cats. They were boys so I wonder how much gender comes into it. I've certainly found the male dogs we've had to be far more cuddly than the female. The mischief is general kitten stuff of course. Her latest game is to hide on the back of the sofa until you've pretended to look for her a bit then pop up and jump out at you. And she's a total menace in my sewing room, but that was to be predicted. Hand sewing is a problem too as she tries to pounce on the needle every time the thread is pulled through LOL! And of course 2am is stupid o'clock!

Generally though she's eating great, with no fussiness problems so far. She's a bit over-enthusiastic on the litter tray digging, sometimes there's a small sand dune on the floor beside it but the only time she's had an accident outside was the day she had her first jag and was under the weather. Her independence means I'm pretty easy about leaving her, although I'm unplugging everything in case of chewing! Another vet visit next week, which will be worse as she'll know what to expect this time! So we'll see just how much she's grown. She was just 1kg last time :)
Thankfully my allergies are fine, apart from the odd sniff (which to be fair could be hay fever too) and a bit of irritation on my neck where she's nuzzling and licking. Nothing I can't handle though. Certainly not the permanent cold and red eyes I would've got a few years ago.
I feel a bit bad, I was flicking through the pic folder in front of her with only her vague interest until I got to the pic of her with her brothers and she was on her feet, nose at the screen looking confused. Gorgeous wee boys too, if I'd known I'd be fine with her I'd have strongly considered taking one of them too. But they're all homed now of course.

PS - the kitten stuff will wear off I promise... but as I've never had kids or in recent years pets I reckon I can be allowed a bit of indulgence LOL!
