Sunny Weather...

Hmmm....What to say...To be honest, I don't really know! This week was good and very busy because we've all be studying like mad. Other than preparing for my five finals, this week was kinda socially inactive! On Monday, Sebastian and I went out for Chinese and then him, Benedict and I watched a movie. Then on Tuesday, it was choir with Barbara and on Wednesday, the StuSie with Barbara and the French people (pictures coming soon!).

We also got a new roomate since Yavor moved out on Sunday. The new guy's name is Marek and he's from Poland - it's cool because there are words and foods that are similar to Czech and Russian (stuff I'm used to from home) and so we can discuss it. He's only here for 2 months cause he's just writing his doctorate thesis, but it's a good thing cause he has a wife and young son at home.

Last night, the French people (really only Benedict and her friend Adele) cooked ham with a white wine sauce and cheesy sliced potatoes for us - it was really good! Then we ate shortbread cookies with vanilla ice cream and moist chocolate brownie type things (complete with a slice of kiwi on top!). SO BAD FOR US!!!! We eat entirely too good to be students. Then Barbara and I played backgammon and checkers and watched ''From Dusk Till Dawn'' with Marek. Eventually, we had all put on our pjs to get comfy and we were all watching the movie in the kitchen. Pajama party! HeHeHe...After that 80s movie, Marek went to bed and Barbara and I caught the last half or so of Woody Allen's ''Everything You Ever Needed To Know About Sex,'' which was absolutely hilarious. In conclusion, we're going to try to find the movie somewhere (Barbara thinks she has it somewhere at home and just never watched it) and watch the whole thing.

Tonight, is the last Indiana Jones, so I do believe after I call Rob (gotta catch him before he goes to Aussie-land!) and make Persian food with Barbara, I will watch that. Ahh....So comforting to watch familiar movies - go figure! Well, Happy Superbowl Sunday to everyone and take care!

Annabelle :-)
