Prologue-
“One true love” was something everyone dreamt with, something everyone longed for, something that everyone wanted in their lives. The idea of loving one person for all of your life seemed romantic and idealistic. But what would happen if one fell in love with two persons? What if you couldn't help it? What if no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't let go of one or the other? What if, just what if you wanted both but at the same time you knew you had to choose one?
Kaburagi Kotetsu, happily married man with a wonderful wife and an adorable 9 year old daughter. He never imagined he would be faced with such a devastating dilemna. Nor that the other person he fell for would be a man, his partner at work. So now what could he do? Should he apologize to his wife? Should he apologize to his partner? Should he apologize to god, for having made a promise to him, one that he now couldn't keep?
Ten years after his wedding, he still remembered every single word he had sworn on that fateful on the altar, his wife's hand enclasped in his.
“God, I make a promise to you. For as long as I live I will forever love this woman. This wonderful person that you have given me the priviledge to meet, the priviledge to love and above all the priviledge to marry. I promise you, I will never love anybody else as much as I love her.”
And now, that promise lay broken, tattered and scattered on the floor. For he had fallen for another, madly and deeply. Intoxicated, poisoned by love by him. And yet, he loved his wife, loved his daughter, loved his family and above all, loved the happines they brought him.
So what could he do? What should he do?
He didn't know, he couldn't decide. But there was one thing he did know. One painful shred on thought clung to his mind and pierced through his heart.
“You have to choose...choose before everything falls apart.”
And that's exactly what “everything” did, it fell apart.
