It's Fathers Day in NZ. I still haven't rung my dad, but I'll get round to it. I'm kind of being a bit of a bitch and making him sweat it out. He sent me a message the other day and kind of pissed me off so I'm getting my own back. He's an awesome dad, he just likes to try and wind me up now and then

It's great that you were able to get some alone time. :-) It sounds like you definitely tried to make the most of it, even if LJ wasn't playing ball. I didn't have a lot show up on my flist today and I'm a member of quite a few communities.

It was so lovely. It's not that I wanted to sit on my butt and do nothing, it was just the peace and quiet that was wonderful :-)
Maybe the nice summer has meant people are too busy. It would be good if everyone started coming back in the winter. *fingers crossed*

I hope you enjoyed your time to yourself and that you stop feeling melancholy. I'm sorry that there were no LJ posts for you. I posted twice recently so I don't feel too bad. One was about The White Queen series, which you probably haven't seen. I only get to watch these things on streaming sites. I don't have much else to post on without whinging about work or taking cats to the vet.
