Fathers Day
It's Fathers Day in NZ. I still haven't rung my dad, but I'll get round to it. I'm kind of being a bit of a bitch and making him sweat it out. He sent me a message the other day and kind of pissed me off so I'm getting my own back. He's an awesome dad, he just likes to try and wind me up now and then :-)
My husband is doing the father thing by taking all our kids out to go shopping for my birthday present. Poor guy, he hates shopping so much, but I'm sure he'll survive. Even though it is Fathers Day I really deserve some time alone. I haven't had a few hours by myself for months and months. I can't actually remember the last time hubby took the kids out without me. I celebrated by watching a recording of Arrow, did some banking and now I'm on LJ. Of course there haven't been any posts, but what the hell, thought I'd give it a go. Think I might make some banana loaf now :-)
