Finally
As my fabulous Frauline posted, we have our stuff and have finally joined the 21st century with broadband internet. We got a taste of it last month when we got a DVR (like tivo) and it is sooo nice. As she mentioned I've been in school since the end of June so I can just watch the few shows I really dig on the weekend. The nice thing about getting here the beginning of the summer is that all those reruns that you all hate are all new for us.
When we first got here it was like being in one big toystore with all of the conveniences that our consumer world provides but that is beginning to wear off a bit though the vast availablity of activities is still nice. I've been catching up a little bit on everyone here on LJ and it seems like you all are busy as usual. We're planning on being in Tampa from Aug 19-28 so we can catch Kite Flyers and the Jobsite fundraiser party that we keep hearing about every year. I haven't put in my leave chit yet by my boss seems ok with it and I'll just drop the paperwork when I finish with school. We can't wait to see everyone, not the least of which Izzy.
