An Upside?

BBQs? I think we've had at least one, usually two, to go to every weekend for 3-4 weeks now! Yes, I'm bragging. That's one good thing here is during the spring/summer someone is cooking out almost every weekend. The trick is to find somebody that can put together a fire pit and throw some animal on a spit and roast it. The Greeks are always cooking lamb but one of the guys here is doing a pig at the end of the month and since it looks like we'll still be here... Well, there has to be some kind of upside.

Of course, since I'm not doing much these days D and I are enjoying boat drinks almost every evening now. This month's Playboy has some great recipes that also inspired us to look into our other books and do some experimenting. Finally got around to trying the Havana Club Rum (Cuban, not Bacardi) and it's a good sub for the Brazilian rum in a Mojito.
