M Retiring
Hey all,
Since we have been total slackers about posting, this is the update. Mike's last day in the Navy will be Monday. As of 12:01 Tuesday morning, he is a civilian. Today was his retirement party, which was very lovely and thankfully, this command respects him and we had a large turnout with many nice comments.
Right now, he has applied for a job in the shop he is working at. It has taken forever for the job to even be open for applying, but we actually might know something in about 3 weeks. That would keep us in Norfolk, but would give us money stability. And he likes the job, so that would be a bonus. However, other apps have been put in and we are just kinda waiting.
However, this all has been kinda hard on him, and I would appriciate anyone who could take a few and give him a ring. (blatant plea over with)
