Actually, Garth and I were talking about the Entropi and how our powers have no effect on them. You see, I have the power of alteration. I can charge up objects and change the structure of matter. For example, that time we were on the run from an enemy battleship... I altered the structure of the its shields so our proton torpedoes could pass through them and damage the ship. If we could use that technique against the Entropi... but I really don't know if it's possible, nor can I fully control my powers at the moment.

I see. It does sound more promising than those abilities which are based strictly on energy output. Without control it may be too dangerous, however; you don't want to burn yourself out in the effort.

What sort of effect does your ability have on energy, or have you tested this? And, what was the original structure of the shields you altered?

From what I had managed to gather after the incident, the Invisible had space-time displacement shields. Unlike the old electromagnetic shields that could only block the target enemy type, space-time displacement shields actually... well, reflect the energy into another dimension. I'm not really sure; information about Federation battleships are kept top-secret.

I haven't tested my powers on energy, unfortunately. My comrades in Quark had deemed it dangerous, and never allowed me to do so.

That sounds extremely promising, actually. I'd be very interested to see what was possible with this; of course, keeping your safety in mind.

I happen to have a forcefield belt which is energy-based, and which might function as a testing device, if you wanted to try some controlled tests of your power's effect on energy. We could meet and experiment.
