Characters: Querl Dox [OU], Maria Traydor [AU]
Where: An isolated corner of the park
When: A couple of days into the third section of the Plot
Summary: Querl and Maria test the effects of her powers.
Warnings: I can't think of any.
There were a number of interesting projects going on for the moment, and despite the ominous atmosphere, or the sense of tension in most of the posts he'd seen cross the messenger, Querl Dox was feeling rather light-hearted. After all, apart from that one poor individual, no one had died from what could have been a catastrophic attack. And having prepared somewhat beforehand, somewhat afterward for the basic needs of the 'citizens' of this city, they could focus on actual weapon development and self-defense.
Unlocked, it would be easier for most to test their abilities as well. True, that included the less civic-minded individuals, but those could be dealt with and were a problem before anyone had been freed. In fact, considering the situation, the entire population had dealt with the crisis better than Querl might have expected. It was still early on, of course, and he didn't intend to relax entirely, but he was still optimistic.
The tests should be quite interesting as well. Even without proper scanning equipment, observation and his own intimate knowledge of the workings of his belt should be enough for their needs. Hopefully Maria's powers would be controlled enough that she wouldn't damage either herself or the belt in the testing...
