(no subject)
I have part-time employment at Lenscrafters! It is far from ideal, being that there is a buttload of responsibility and training for it being only a few steps up from minimum wage. But they guarantee me about 25 hours a week during the school year, and it's flexible enough that I can also work at the college without wanting to die.
(I'm waiting to be maybe called for a final interview at the other college for that full-time job...I really hope I get it, but, well...we will see...)
So the plan for now is to work at both the college and Lenscrafters until I can find more stable full-time employment. Still living with my parents for a while as I pay down some loan debt and save some funds for an apartment.
I got most of the stuff done this summer that I wanted to: saw a lot of movies with Heather (we go on "date nights" a lot), did an epic NYC excursion with Cathy, got to see Nickelback in concert again (my 3rd time, and every time is different and fun!), and finished some long-standing craft projects. One regret is that I didn't get to hang out with Janet much, but she's been so busy with studying for the bar exam that she didn't really have much time. :(
I'm beginning to plan some fun vacation-type things for next year; Emma and I are planning to go to New York Comic Con (and I can crash on her couch, hurrah!), and I'm planning to head to Otakon.
More on everything later, it's sleepytime.
