(no subject)
Just a general update, I guess:
- I'm writing a paper tonight. ugh.
- I just had a rehearsal with my accompanist, and I totally kicked ass on my new Mozart aria, by just buckling down and getting some honest-to-goodness rehearsals in for a change
- Today was gorgeous! After class, I went and sat by the mill stream and wrote a letter, and then read my new book that I got for my birthday. It was very enjoyable.
- my room is so clean! I've been keeping it really clean, because I find that I can focus a lot better on homework when it's clean in here.
- I've succeeded in cutting down on coffee. I'm only drinking about twelve ounces I day now. In fact...I don't think I've had any caffeine today. Hmmm. No wonder I had a headache.
- It's almost Spring!
- I've finally come to terms with the fact that I'm just not ambitious or driven enough right now to trade a summer of rest and rejuvenation for an internship that I'm not excited about. So I'm just applying to one, an archeology field school in IL. If I don't get into that, then I'll just be staying in C-town, hopefully working full time and catching up on my bike riding and swimming.
- I finished my taxes!
- Must go write paper now.
