Samhain~
Blessed Samhain to all of my witcy friends. And Happy Halloween to everyone!
(Aside: Why would Mormon's choose today as a good day to pass out literature?)
There will be an appropriate feast tonight, but no children are expected to trick or treat in our area. People just don't here. I find that sad, but I guess that Halloween is less for children now and more for seeing how slutty your sorority sisters can look.
On an out of context note: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cargo_Cults I had never heard this behavior referred to as Cargo Cults until yesterday, and that is weird since my father is an anthropology/archeology nut, plus is fascinated by military history. A new phrase is *pop* inserted into my personal language usage.
Purchased a copy of the Federalist Papers at the Goodwill for .50 on Tuesday. That depressed me. Why would anyone give away a copy of something so very interesting? I suppose that they could have had a duplicate copy. *refrains from going on a rant*
For now I am off to the public library to check out some new books.
