Went to Minnesota for Friday evening/Saturday most-day. It was pretty nice; it was snowy and chilly. St Olaf was really nice, and their Scholars' Day thing was definitely a good sell. All in all, I had a pretty good time.

Ended up spending 4 hours at the airport; conned the mother into buying World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie Apocolypse. ( Read more... )

So. Went to Momocon this weekend. It rocked. Not as hard as previous years, but after last year's "Incident", that's only to be expected, I suppose. Was doing some historical re-enactment research tonight, and thought that I'd let some of you in on what I spend a lot of time doing.
