NI HAO!
so instead of doing my homework. yeah, i have homework already, i'll talk about myself.. haha
my first day of classes was awesome. i really like them all so far. the intro to IR is a little... scary. i don't know what the professor is talking about at all. but i guess that's the point in taking the class. i should be fine as long as i do all the work and readings. :D i have all of tuesday and thursday to do that stuff. i have yet to go to work... it's in like.. half an hour. i'm a little anxious about it.. i dunno why. i guess because it's a new job. and i have to be trained and what not. meh. it'll be fine.
Anyways, Chinese yesterday was fun. I love that professor. Have I ever said that before?!? He's awesome. But yeah. The class is vut in about half. It's kinda sad that so many people dropped it, but it's also nice because i'm happy to be in a class with people who are really... dedicated i guess to learning the language. It's going to be much harder, but I'm still looking forward to it.
I can't wait for my other class with him. He's such a great person, I can't wait to hear him talk about China, not just the Chinese language. Unlike all my french classes, I'm not really learning about culture. It's kinda stinky, but I guess it gives me a chance to take another class with Prof. Zhou!
hmmm.. East Asian Art Survey. SOO AWESOME. That class is going to be pretty easy actually. It's almost exactly the same as my Seminar. There are some differences, like slide quizzes, but still. I can't wait for that class. No Prof. Tinker interference. AWESOME.
that's about it i guess. I went to a crew thing last night. it was a team bonding thing instead of a real practice. They told us that we had an On Your Own 3 mile run today instead. And yeah. I tried, i really did. I made it to two miles (inside) and I couldn't keep going. THAT REMINDS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's SNOWING!! :D AWESOME. I'll have to go out and take some pictures and whatnot of the campus in snow. It's so pretty. Besides the dirty snow that is. haha. But yeah. I did some situps and stuff after running. I feel bad that I didn't finish... but I just couldn't do it. I've gotten into bad shape over the break. i want to try that run again on Thursday. :D
that's definitely it. no other news. haha.... actually. there is a little something. i told mary about this while I was home... i kinda have a "crush" on a guy on my floor. I don't know him really, and this is more of a he-seems-like-a-really-nice-guy-and-i-want-to-get-to-know-him thing. :D haha. yeah...... i'll elaborate some other time maybe.
