Lost in Space costume Judy - update
Got most of the dress put together....got the skirt finished and attached to the bodice of the dress. I had to do it in pieces because there is a green underskirt beneath the slit purple overskirt/dress.
All that's left is to make the bias trim (out of this non-creasing polyester), attach it to the top edge of the skirt, around the neckline and around the armholes and put in the zipper. Sounds easy enough.
I'll try to get a picture of me in the dress next week as I'm having an issue with the darts. Because the fabric doesn't hold a crease practically at all, the bust darts are all poofy. Not sure what I can do about this.
