I think maybe I'm lacking the confidence I used to have in high school. When the two of y'all tell me I'll be fine because "I'm Nelson," I feel that statement shows a lot. For the past two years, I think I've strayed away from the "Nelson" y'all know. Maybe I'll find him somewhere in the mix.
I've got just over a week left at JCPenney. I checked my schedule for my last week and I have 37.5 hours. That's the most I've had of any week this summer. What's even crazier is that I'm already ready to be done. However, I will have a nice paycheck to end my career. Remember, Tennessee tax free weekend is Aug. 4-6...no sales tax on any clothing item under $100. I'll be at the Penney from 7-4 on Aug 4 and 1-11 on Aug 5. Come by and sign up for a credit card.
My kid sister just went to Baltimore for the Junior Olympic National Track and Field Championships. She finished in the top 20 in the country in long jump for her age group. She didn't have her best high jump day. It was a great experience for her. I know she was real upset when she didn't do well in the high jump, but I'm sure she'll forget about it when she gets home and sees her car waiting for her in the driveway. My parents got her a 2002 Ford Escape. Not a bad lookin car at all. Hopefully she appreciates it. Ok, work in an hour, best go get ready.
