I was shamed into finally buckling down wrt my final picks by petronia posting her answer to this meme, so thanks for that! (Shame: it's good for you!) Tagged by cis an age ago:

Oxide & Neutrino feat. Megaman - Remy on da Floor
Execute was totally one of my best album purchases of the spring (and at an averaged 100 items so far this year this is no faint praise, ahaha), and this is one of my favourite tracks off it. (Of course, half the album = One of My Favourite Tracks Off It, but hey! :D)
Ashanti - Rain on Me
I got into Ashanti last year and have been steadily accumulating her full discography since. (And she's got a new one out right around now! Which I haven't listened to though it's been sitting on my hard drive+mp3 player for half a week, ahah.) This one is a prime example of what's hooked me about her stuff -- that lazy laid-back groove is all over her back catalogue. <3
Cotti & Doctor - Rise da Temperature
Top benefit of this meme: getting me off my ass abt talking about this one! Cotti's been ON POINT this year -- after the triumph of Calm Down last year, this year we've had both Dem Fi Know and this one. The chorus on this one is 1XKILLER.
Antti Tuisku - Rakkauden anarkiaa
This was the point, when caning New York last summer, at which I fell into utter respect for Antti Tuisku. I'm just saying, it takes guts for a guy to employ vocal techniques this utterly female-coded! (Also it is very awesome in its own right, innit.)
Wiley - Reason
I only this year listened closely enough to the lyrics to realize what this one's about! Yes, I am lamz0r. XD (Always one of my faves off Treddin' on Thin Ice, regardless.)
