For the past week I have been off CPAP. It was the recommendation from the person running the insomnia workshop. She thought that at the high pressure I was at, I was better off not wearing it until I could get a lower pressure.

So yesterday I finally did. I almost didn't. They mailed me the new prescription instead of faxing it to the DME vendor, and I didn't realize it, so I did not have it with me. I had to go home and pick it up. But I was starting to get more tired and not sleep so well (Despite being asleep throughout the night.) So I went home to check the mail and went back to get the pressure changed, even though it was out of my way.

Last night, I slept much better. I think spending a week off CPAP really showed me what CPAP is doing for me. I didn't feel like I was prying myself out of bed today. The alarm went off, I woke up, then I was up and alert.
