Unhappy Elf
Please excuse that title. I was trying to be creative.
Anyway, my second box of makeup from e.l.f. (eyeslipsface) arrived today. I've opened everything and swatched all the colors, and I'm pleased to say that they all seem like they'll do well for skin tone after all (I was a little apprehensive of certain selections). Unfortunately, one of my quads (one that I was rather excited to have) arrived damaged. It was a Brightening Eye Color quad in "luxe". It was only a dollar, but still.
Fortunately, e.l.f. has a really great customer service policy. They replace items damaged in the post! So I filed my claim and received an email within a few hours saying that they would ship a replacement. Their time-frame was a couple of weeks, but it's fine by me not sure how I came up with that. Earliest they could ship it is Monday, but I think that might be a bit wishful, haha. I watched some videos showing how to turn broken shadows into cream shadow/liner. So I might try that since really it would be a shame to simply toss the thing.
That being said, I can report on my second haul, or I can wait until I get the replacement quad. Either way, it will still be a few days wait because I only played with one quad today, apart from swatching everything...
