Haha! I totally didn't even think PANDORA stood for anything! And I didn't even catch it when it showed up on the screen... *shrugs* I'm not the greatest at remembering details, so I doubt I would remember even if I did see it.
These episodes are the start of where things got confusing - in my opinion! It's where the storyline starts to evolve from what was more straight forward in previous ones. Like we always knew that Hei worked for a "third party", but we just didn't realize how BIG of an organization it was. Not really.
For the patch, I always thought it was just to help him get through the checkpoints. You know, how they do that lie detector sort of test... That somehow it keeps any negative results from showing. Just a way to trick the system. How they ask him a series of questions and he answers "No" to all of them when one of them is clearly a lie - not knowing what a contractor is.
And yes! I love the interactions between Nick and Hei, and just how quickly they bond together. There were so many similarities that they slowly reveal over their time together - down to their powers.
But Bai suddenly showing up at the end is what throws me off the most. Like did she appear just because that was what he wanted to see and he was near enough to the gate?
As for Mina... I think what she "found" was love, or at least affection, as she was developing a crush on Hei. But at the end, she sheds tears upon what she sees - or didn't see. Remember how she went to go see Hei in the middle of the night, only to find his room empty?
She knew he was a contractor, so she must have thought he died in the "explosion" that they all saw. There were no bodies found, which we know that Nick "disappeared" while Hei escaped.
Oh, and characters - the boss scientist was Sergei (I think) and the other boss guy was Eric Nishijima. Just because they're names I do remember... XD
All I can say is - Hei... You stud muffin! Stealing everyone's hearts... Mine included. I could feel myself growing all mushy with his showing of sentimentality.
