Just popping in here real fast from my phone (yes, that one ises this journal still so I can read stuff!). Have you heard the full album of Jupiter yet? Classical Element? Blessing of the Future was a bad idea of them as first material, I admit, but this full album is showing the full extend of what these guys are as a team. From ballad to heavy growl and back, this album is AMAZING. At least to me. I'm still listening to it right now, and haven't heard all of it yet... I'd still say to give it a chance. It's much better than the first single. I am now stupid as I will get fined by the government for importing this album, but I just HAVE to have it. XD
I haven't listened to the whole thing, just the first single. I suppose it won't hurt me to try it out. I'll see if I can find it and give it a listen. I really respect your music taste so I know you wouldn't recommend it to me if it wasn't good.
It's not my rip since it's not officially out yet other than on the Japanese version of iTunes. So it's m4a format. iTunes and Windows Media Player should both be able to play this. Don't thank me, thank the person who pirated iTunes. XD Beware of ALLEGORY CAVE, though. It is the heaviest song of the album with deep growls and general heavy metal mixed with symphonic. Also, Heaven's Atlas and Scarlet are my favorites so far. Scarlet and Nostalgie will have PVs, and I hope Type A has Scarlet, but I'll rip it for you if you want none the less. ;)
I'll upload it for you tomorrow, then. (: It really is worth a second chance, as I didn't like the single much either. Only "Shout Your Desire" because of it's programmed vibe here and there. The other song? Miss. Big miss. I learned to like the title song, but only with the video playing haha

Oh, I'm also working on a few new layout ideas, and since csg_dear4life pointed out to me that the comment box here is a little hard to read for her, I'm working on a few ideas for you too. I'm actually thinking of a green-inspired layout, but that's about how far I've gotten, haha. I'll keep you updated on that, since I was looking at the scans I made from the Blessing of the Future ~Deluxe Edition booklet, and there actually are a couple of amazing Teru images in there. I admit I started on Zin first, I will be ashamed later.
Anyway, let me know if there was anything in there you actually liked! Since I sometimes can't even tell my own music apart anymore, hah.
Generally speaking, I quite like the album. Not love it, but I've only listened to it one time through. I super love "Decadence" though! That is my favorite. I listen to it a lot. I will listen to the whole album again and include my thoughts later.
As for the layout... whatever you will. I still like this layout and though the font is rather small I guess I got used to it at some point. But I'd be interested to see what you come up with though I have to say too that I'm not really into Teru all that much anymore lol. I guess with all this jumble between the Versailles' members (even though they still seem to be friends) just made me annoyed.
Anything is better than hating it immediately! As that somehow seems to be the reaction that's going around about it. Some love it, some hate it and the way in between has only been used by you, from what I've read. XD
Anyway! I may have another recommendation for you, if you went through the list already. I was using a different computer this morning, and found my Sugizo folder. (He's officially the guitarist for Luna Sea, but he also replaces hide in X Japan for the last few years.) His solo project is a mix of electronic/programming and violin music. Sometimes fully 'instrumental' but sometimes with vocalist included. For a preview I'd suggest "MIRANDA feat. MaZDA", just because it is a very nice song. But there are more, obviously. Just adding to the suggestion list!
As for the layout: I have an idea in mind, but you can tell me if you want a special someone on the header or not. Otherwise I'm just going to add random ones or something. I somehow have no desire to change mine, I simply like it too much! :\

Hey, that's better than most reactions I have heard from the people here! Strangely enough, a lot of people are going off about the first single being horrible, and without even giving it a try, "the entire album is the same way". Okay, if you say so @ everyone who said what I just quoted there.
Personally I was rather surprised about how many different elements were mixed together in this album, and please don't hit me, I hated (yes, sadly I really did) the last few releases of Versailles. I have a motivation to go with that, but I'd rather not share that for the reasons of global peace on poor K's journal. ^^; And I have the handicap named LuLu. Their vocalist has the strangest voice you'll ever hear. If you get used to him, you can listen to nearly any vocalist or something, haha.
What? Seriously?? I just didn't know there was an album coming out, until I skimmed your comment. Not going to lie though. I really didn't like the single. That song is the epitome of everything I didn't like about his voice... haha! I don't like that mm... Pitchiness to his voice when he holds his notes out, which seemed to happen with every line on that song =__=;; *shudder*
Overall, it was enjoyable in its own way. Like when he sang "normal", I didn't find it bad. And the songs were catchy in their own right. Really? Hated the latest Versailles? I wouldn't say I hated it, because I liked it, but definitely not as much as their older stuff. haha, I guess if you get used to the utterly bizarre, anything not at that level is normal :P
