Hats and the Hair They Cover
I dyed my hair pink after getting permission at work, but then the permission fell flat so I had to cover up the pink or move to an office out of sight of any potentially offended prospects. (The unspoken "or else," of course, was to go on my boss's boss's shitlist for all eternity for valuing my hair color over my job.) I bought a box of dark ash brown and did the deed with a great deal of help from Michael, and, well...
It turned out...kinda purple? Mysterious. I like it well enough and it seems to be acceptable to the Establishment.
Anyway, the REAL reason I came on down to LiveJournal was to share the most amazing hat in the world. Leah from Pages & Squires, AKA the best book club at LEAST in California, made this! Like, made-made it!
Right? Doesn't it just blow your mind? People. Making hats. Whaaaaaat. Leah is the most fabulous. (See how easy it is to gain my favor through material goods? I expect some jockeying for position, people!)
