Benedict Cumberbatch. It's his voice that's got my mum hooked on him already, even without seeing it. Of course I had to share my love for his other nommy assests with her, and she seems interested xD
I was just getting into my love for the other aspects of the show (like Moffat's writing, the awesome and quirky cinematography, Martin and his fluffy jumpers of doom and Mycroft Poppins) when the phone rang. *_*
Even through I have fandom friends virtually the same age as my mother, it always feels slightly weird fangirling with her. But whatever, this means I can watch Sherlock on the big telly tonight when it debuts on Australian TV even if I'm having dinner at the time.
It's very rare that my mum lets me watch anything I like on the living room telly. Yet alone something as awesome as Sherlock. I only hope Channel 9 don't butcher it. I can handle the ads (just... only because I've seen it before) but if they cut anything out they will face my firey fangirl wrath.
