October Craziness!
So, as predicted October has been a crazy month. Not crazy bad, just crazy busy. Here's how you know it's been too busy...I'm looking forward to my Thanks giving week off!
So here's what's left this month:
*Going to see A Chorus Line with the cuz tomorrow
*Finishing up some off site work for the science center
*Getting things prepped for me being out of the classroom on Tuesday
*Taking Kevin to Toledo on Tuesday for a college Visit (I'm sooo excited about this, but also so pissed, because I just found out they are on fall break...go figure!)
*Kindergarten field trip on Thursday (Which I am running this year)
*Lots of testing to get done before the end of the month
*Possible try-out one week from today
*Getting my butt to the gym so that I don't die at possible try out
*School Halloween party
*Report Cards for first quarter
*TONS of papers to grade (I really fell behind!)
*Family Halloween party - that I am sooo excited about
*Kenny's wedding
Thus ends the lovely month of October. I'm not even going to mention all of the other things from the beginning of the month. I'm telling you, come Nov. 2nd I think I am going to drop!
Oh well, I guess I can't complain, because a lot of the things I have done this month have been fun and recreational.
I do feel like back in September I was so ahead of the game as far as school goes. Now I feel like I am falling behind again. I keep having all of these plans to catch up and even get ahead, and they just keep falling through with all that is going on. Ugh. I think my third year teaching will be even better than my second!
Well, I guess that's an update for now. I feel sad when I jump on livejournal anymore...no one updates! (This includes me.) Oh well, I guess it's mostly because we are all big bad adults now.
