Its in the negatives here in central Missouri! Thats all Im gonna say....its freaking freeeeeezing!!!
I went to see a chiropractor for my back pain. diagnosis: I'm pretty much all screwed up.
Doctor: "you know...they put horses down with these kinds of problems"
Me: "well thank the lord Im not a horse huh"
I have scoliosis...this is not something new. What is new is the XRay he took. I am no doctor but even I can see how ....excuse my language....fucked up my back looks. It looks like someone punched my spine from the side in between my shoulder blades, Lumbar 3 vertebrae is sitting cock-eyed because my left hip has rotated forward, and worst of all is my neck.....its curving the wrong way. Your neck is supposed to curve forward....mine is starting to curve backwards....my Doctor says probably from a car accident or some kind of trauma to the neck. Great...just great. Good news, it was diagnosed now and not down the road where it would be irreversable....so it IS treatable. The neck and lumbar are treatabl...the scoliosis is not. Bad news, its going to cost me almost $3000 in physical therapy to fix it. I have to see the doctor 3 times a week for adjustments, electrolysis, and spinal decompression. yay. And I have exercises I have to do everynight for my neck and all this over the next 6 months.
I have been having pain all over my back since I can remember but lately its was getting steadily worse. The doctor was shocked I was still up and walking around not complaining. This pain is chronic, I've lived with it all my life.....I guess you just get used to things and live with it. I cant drive a car for longer than 20 minutes without my lower back getting the stabby pain....and my upper back has a constant burning sensation that I get no relief from. And my neck.....Ive lost some mobility in it and I get frequent headaches....nothing a little motrin never fixed or a nap...lol.
ugh...now I feel like a whiner.....I feel like one of those people that complain about every little ache and pain....I hate people like that...I NEVER want to be that person! So I just go to the extreme.... srsly! A couple years ago I went into work with my big toe broken...that was painful. hehehe The doctor took my boot off and my big toe was all black and blue! I felt like an idiot because I broke it while vaccuming my car. Thats probably why I never complained because I didnt want my stupidity to be known..... O.o
Anyway...thats all thats new with me. I am still enjoying my work...just not the area. I am going stir crazy looking at my hotel walls every night.....there is just nothing in the area. There's a walmart...thats it. Tomorrow the Transportation Clerk is out so they are going to let me do her job. I sat with her today seeing what she does...I think I can handle it. Train one day...do it the next. Thats how the Army trains! lol!
