an update
My internship at the zoo is kickin ass! Seriously, I love it more and more each day. Basically, I prepare their morning and afternoon food -- bran, vitamin E, sweet feed etc, then we clean out all the poop, then sweep, then wash the floors, squee-gee the floors, clean up more poop and then this is the best part... I get to help bathe the elephants!!! That means scrubbing them down with soapy water and brushes, and they absolutely love it! What a beautiful animal the elephant is! After all the elephants are bathed, we feed them, clean the outside stall and then we clean the floors again and then a break. It doesn't sound like it would take too long, but the stalls are big and they go to the bathroom frequently, so this takes up the 4 hours i work on friday mornings...7:30 am - 11:30 am! Soon I'll be working all day on saturday and 1/2 on sunday. I'm super excited!
Apart from that, nothing too big going on...the weather's been crazy...very cold now, a few flurries yesterday. It's supposed to snow all weekend, fun fun! I always love the first snowfall, it's so beautiful and it reminds me that the happiest time of the year is coming...MY BIRTHDAY! lol well that too, but I really mean CHRISTMAS!!! YAY!! I can't wait! Plus, its a good reason to go shopping all the time ;)
The Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Jake Owens concert was incredible! We were like 20 feet back from the stage and it was just amazing.The crowd seemed to be older people, who probably gambled so much that they got the tickets for free...which sucks but whatever, I was up dancing and having a good time :) Plus they gave us $10 for free to gamble down at the casino! That was fun!
I've started a Florida Fund, where I will put $20 in a box, from my tips when i work and not use it until I'm down in Florida with my baby! I'm really excited for it...I cant wait! :D
Shaun and I went to the puppy store yesterday, Petland to be exact and I've fallen in love with this english bulldog puppy...too bad he's one of the most expensive dogs in the store...$1500... :( but he was so cute and wrinkly...awww.... someday.... hopefully!
