October is definately the month for scary things...
Tomorrow, I officially start my internship at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, working with the elephants. I am really excited, but also really nervous...this is a big step towards what I want to do and I just hope I dont mess up. The one thing I'm not looking forward to is getting up at 6:30 am and getting to the zoo by 7:30 am. I'm sure I'll be fine... :) hopefully.
The 2nd scary thing is that I just made an appointment for my senior picture to be taken...I cannot believe that I (like most of you) are gonna be graduating! Where the hell did the 4 years go?! College is definately something that makes you realize how much of your life is spent whizzing by...a part of me doesnt want to leave because I love everyone here...what is life outside of college?!? I guess I'll find out soon enough...
Well, on to a more exciting thing...there's a kitten who sleeps on my porch and I saw him today...I named him Toby, even though it might be a girl...but Toby can be a unisex name so whatever. I have a feeling its a girl though...i didn't see any cat balls...and trust me, I had to dissect cat balls, so I would know if they were there...This kitten is so freaking cute...orange and black on top, white underneath, i love her to death! I went to get treats and she sleeps on a towel...She was waiting for me when I got home :) Hopefully I can keep her!!!
Ok, so I have a huge cell physiology exam...gotta go study. and then sleep early for the zoo. ugh. lol wish me luck!
