Ummm...I'm just getting back from one of the BEST WEEKENDS EVER!! I'm sure i've said that several times before, but what can I say, I like to have fun! This past weekend, the roomies and I went home to Atlanta...
I have the best mom ever!! When we got home she made us shrimp and salmon (with salad on the side) and peach dacquiris!!
Okay, here's the "run down": Part of the reason why we came to Atlanta was because it was Young Jeezy's birthday weekend so we knew there would be a ton of stuff going on and some good parties. Well, one of Tasha's (on the far left) "friends," Banks (obviously not his real name), is in charge of Jeezy's PR and he was tellin' Tasha how he could get us in to all these parties and we could go VIP and all this stuff. I wasn't really believing any of this crap, but I went along with it anyway.
So, Jeezy was supposed to be performing at this ghetto club and he said he would get us in, just meet them there. So we get there and we're waiting...and waiting. Banks calls and said Jeezy was in a car accident(he wrecked his lamborghini and he was bleeding). I didn't believe that either, but whatever. So we ended up just going home! I was thinkin', "this Banks dude is setting us up for the okie-doke!"
On Saturday we went to hang out downtown. I get lost EVERY time, but that's part of the fun...lots of opportunities for car pictures!!
Mandatory tourist pictures. That's the capital building and the Fox Theater.
The first two are at Centinnel Olympic park in front of the foutains/shooting water thingies. The last picture was the stage set up for a Lil' Jon concert that a local radio station was having that night. We were walkin' and that thing was just in the street, so we asked a cop to take our picture. How random is that??
The only evidence from the most AMAZING night (aside from boo-boo cell phone pictures that Amanda and Tasha took)!! Judging by the picture we obviously had a good time!! Hahaha!! Okay, so Satuarday was Jeezy's big birthday party at this swanky 21+ club called The Compound (i'm not 21 yet, but big ups to my older sister who got me an I.D. with her picture). The club is SICK; there were 3 separate outdoor areas (one which had a POOL), and two indoor areas. Anyway, to make a LONG story short, we waited in line for an hour and half and paid $30 to get in (you know this club was something serious when they have a line for cash and a line for credit). We obviously get there before Banks (who was with Jeezy and the rest of his entourage), so we're just chilling.
Tasha's phone goes dead, but luckily she had her charger in her purse (why, I don't know). She ended up finding an outlet...but it was behind the ropes of some guys' VIP area. They were nice enough to let us join them. I guess they were ready to get up and walk around so they said, "Ya'll can drink whatever we have over here, if ya'll hold down our spot." Heck yeah!! So we are sittin' in VIP drinking GREY GOOSE and orange juice/cranerry juice! The good life baby!!
After gettin' our drink on, we decided to go walk around. And who do we run into?? Banks!! He proved me wrong when he grabbed ours hands, led us through some back door, and ONTO THE STAGE!! I looked up to my left and there was JEEZY (I mean, he was literally like 5 feet away). Then up comes TRICK DADDY...then YOUNG BUCK...then KEYSHIA COLE!! I couldn't believe it!! We were really on stage with Jeezy?? We stayed up there for the rest of the night.
Oh, and Jeezy really was a in a car accident the night before because he had stiches and butterfly clips on his head. Keyshia Cole looked regular; like somebody's homegirl. Trcik Daddy looked a HOT MEss...like he just rolled outta bed. And Young Buck had on Dickies pants?? Come on' now, Dickies??
I'm still slapping myself because I didn't think they'd let me bring my camera in so I just left it in the car.
That's Banks (on the right) and his friend Andre. He impressed me even more when he told us to meet them at Lenox Mall the next morning so that he could give us each back our $30 from the night before!! You da man, you da man!!
Self timer went off a little early (I don't know what the heck happened to my other earring). And that's us outside the mall before we said our goodbye's to Andre and Banks (but not for long, 'cause Jeezy is having a concert in ATL soon and you already know we're tryna get the hook up, LOL)
Moral of the story: don't doubt people and go all out...do it big!! You only live once, right? Now, it's back to the real world...school. I don't have any tests or anything this week, so i'm chillin' for a little bit. We're already planning our next road trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a football.
That's gonna be B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
Oh, and i'm sure none of you care, but we beat the current national champions (previously ranked #4), Florida Gators this Saturday. That definitely put the icing on the cake for a great weekend.
Until next time, I'm gone like yesterday!!
