radio sucks ass

I've heard an ad on the radio, a few times, that pisses me off. It's either for a loan company, or a debt consolidation company, I'm can't remember which. The announcer, which is the owner of the company, is marveling at how he had saved this Delphi worker so much money, even enough for him to buy a brand new snowmobile. What the fuck?! This is probably one of the same guys who is bitching about going from 20 dollars an hour to probably about ten. Cry me a fucking river. If you have debt problems when you are making 20 dollars an hour, then there is something wrong with you. Maybe you shouldn't be buying that brand new snowmobile, with credit I'm sure, if you are so worried about the money. Maybe you shouldn't have been making 20 dollars an hour to begin with, but that's a different issue. And to these bastards who talk about how educated they are, but chose to work at the shop, fuck you. These auto workers need to step outside of their magical auto industry, and take a look at the real world, where you aren't hand fed everything you can get. Maybe then, they wouldn't be bitching about what they are getting. Now that I've gotten way off subject, back to why radio sucks.

I've come to the conclusion that radio is just one big commercial, with music thrown in every once in a while. I can't be the only one who has noticed how many commercials there are these days. And when commercials aren't playing, the DJs turn themselves into corporate whipping boys, in order to make the station more money. I just love when they talk about a certain amount of time without commercials, and then they talk thorough through half of that. Ever noticed how they speed up the music, in order to fit more commercials? Believe me, they do. Listen to a station for a while, and you'll notice a difference. Commercials are the reason I switched to satellite radio. No commercials is the best. And the stupid, think-they're-cool DJs, especially on a certain local rock station, are simply annoying. Does anyone really care what they are talking about?
