Why are people so obsessed with drugs?

May 21, 2006 23:14

Hello there, live journal readers. I'm glad you all decided to visit me today. Tomorrow is the beginning of my second week of the summer routine, and I'm feeling pretty good about it, as I look back upon a fairly laid-back weekend. I won't go into it at the moment, though. Why, you ask? Well, because I am more interested in discussing concepts ( Read more... )

There are plenty of theoretical/philosophical things I could study and yield great fruit from, but if what Cayce proposed is true...it trumps all. It completely and undeniably changes one's whole understanding of humanity and existence. Its effects are not only far reaching, but universal. That's all I have to say about that, for now, though.

Oh you are a god damn cocktease that is what you are, all discussing this all-changing event and then being all "oh but I'll leave that for later!" Jerk. Just for that I'm not commenting on the rest of your entry.

You bastard. I demand commentary on the rest of my entry! At that point I had two beers in me and didn't feel like trying to blunder stupidly through an introduction to the vastly expansive topic of Edgar Cayce's readings. I will get around to it--when I have enough time to do it some justice. I was going to do it today, but I got interrupted by some unexpected guests.

"I have a feeling that I will be consorting with a largely 'new' crowd of people. Hopefully these people will be those with whom will be developed the most mature and lasting relationships possible" (qoutations because I am a loser who doesn't know how to make words italic on the computer ( ... )

-To make italics, you just do this: < i > except without the spaces at the beginning of what you want italicized, then to close it you go: < /i > again without the spaces between the <>'s and the stuff inside.

-I'm happy we seem to be of the same pioneering mindset for this summer. I think it would do both of us some good to see some new faces--especially you, who deserve to be treated better than that (particular one) of our friends accords you. I would like to meet Chad, and I already told you that I am strangely beginning to warm up to Jenna a bit also--hopefully she doesn't hate me. Don't worry about Rich and Steve. Both of them are pretty dumb, trust me. Patterson has always been a "crazy partier," it has just been a matter of how much he actually remembered to call me/us and stuff. He comes and goes, but I have a feeling that he won't be gone for a good while.

-This summer will be pwnage. The Twiztid show is a nice way to kick it off--your first night of summer! We're for sure getting to all the places you mentioned, ( ... )

Rich is right. Fucker.

But anyhow, as I've said numerous times, I really enjoy hanging out with you and that one retarded girl with the orange hair lately, so hopefully that continues. I also want to meet Chad because I'm intrigued now that I've been told he has encyclopedic knowledge of the X-Men.

As for your first sentence, see my above reply to Rich's comment.

As for the rest: you made it on the list, which means you're totally in for this summer, and even kind of cool besides that. I would kind of like to meet Chad too; I've never really had a gay friend before, maybe it would be a good thing to have. hahaha, Maybe he's even a cool person, too. We can interview him about X-men and ask for his opinion on all of the movies.

Steve delivered the words before I could this time. Pssh, you're all "I demand commentary" then you call me stupid.

You most definitely should, Steve. Quickly! The third one opens this weekend and you must see it on opening night!

I still demand commentary. I even commented on your whole latest entry.

Besides, I never called you or Steve stupid at all. I said you were DUMB, which is (as I thought everybody knew) an acronym for Definitely Unable to Mitigate their Bombastic-ness. In other words, I was calling you sweet!

Autumn needs to see both of the X-men movies also. Do I see awesome plans being made to take care of this? I would like to see the first two again, myself. We wouldn't get them watched in time to see the third one on opening night, but I have different plans for Friday anyway.

I'd just like to say that if some awesome plans along those lines were, indeed, made, I'd be in full support of them.

Then here, sir, is your commentary.

Tomorrow is the beginning of my second week of the summer routine, and I'm feeling pretty good about it, as I look back upon a fairly laid-back weekend.

Funny how this was what your LJ said, yet your past two days away messages were screaming with hate and spite of the job. What changed?

Last summer was dominated by Autumn, Matt, Ruby, and Patterson--among several others who played significant 'supporting roles' whom I won't mention now.

I found the use of "supporting roles" humorously factual; it is always weird how one's activities tend to be dominated by a main cast and then a bunch of no-named people from whom depth of interaction or occurrence does not seem to come. That may have come out slightly different than I intended...

I will probably see more of Rich and Steve than I ever have,Though you obviously meant in a leisure, friendship sense, it will be hard to best the amount of time in which we were "seeing each other" during Oklahoma! Like 6 god damned hours a day for 45 days we had ( ... )
