Valentines Day

** Disclaimer** Okay, I really don't want people to get the idea that just because I'm single that I don't like valentines day. I'm in no hurry in the love department, if love finds me fine, but I don't need to be in a relationship to be happy, I'm content with my status at the moment. It wouldn't matter if I was single or not. **

I think valentines day is one of the dumbest holidays ever!

Seriously!

Yes it's sweet and all, but it's always expected to be. You should have to wait for one day to show someone that you love them. And everyone who's in a relationship expects something on valentines day, and if they don't get something, they get pissed. If you really care about someone you should show them everyday that you care, and I don't mean with chocolates or gifts (though they're a nice suprise) but just telling them that you care or just spending time together. I think it's more romantic to recieve something when you're not expecting to get anything. And it also puts so much pressure on people in relationships cause they feel like they have to get their significant other something cause if they don't they would be viewed as being a horrible boyfriend/girlfriend husband/wife. But I think it's harder on men cause usually they're the ones who are "supposed to shower their love with gifts". blah blah blah.

I know valentines days isn't going to go any anytime soon. I just think it's a stupid holiday. Sure it would be nice to have, do I dare say it, a "valentine", but I would rather have a man that would do the unexpected than follow the norm of this ridulous holiday.

But I will say one good thing about valentines day, I have another job interview at a local hospital! YAY! So I'm excited about that. I hope it works out. I never heard back from the pharmacy, but maybe it's for the best. We'll just have to see.

Anyways that's about all I have to say at the moment.

For those of you who celebrate Valentines day, have a happy valentines day or singles awareness day, whichever you decide

And for those who don't acknowledge it as a holiday at all, have a wonderful day tomorrow!
