Texas Life
Today is one of the better days I've had in Texas so I decided I would update. I've been here almost a week now and it's strange.

I need to work on this. It's strange but it's not a very social town and I'm not sure how to go about making friends. I'm not working and I'm not in school. Where the hell do you meet people? Bars? Well... I tried that. The bars weren't busy, even though it was a Friday night, because it wasn't pay day weekend. Most of the people who were out were there with friends just chilling and hanging out with each other. It's just weird to be in a town with no friends. I know it hasn't even been a week yet so I'm not gravely concerned. Plus the goal is to be in Austin so who cares what happens here, I'll be gone soon. Luckily I've been keeping in close contact with my friends from Tallahassee and wow, I miss them.
Mostly I've been bored. And annoyed. I'm used to living with one person and we pretty much gave each other our space or had fun together. It's so strange living with all these people who are home all the time. I can't wait to live alone. I love my family and everything but there are reasons people move out.
Today I went shopping and bought my best friend/ex-roomie (Kristyna) her birthday present because I need to get it in the mail. It is fabulous and perfect and I know she'll love it! Gosh I've missed Kohls. Now I live right down the street from one. I really enjoyed getting out of the house and just being alone and doing my own thing. It just felt really good. It made my day, how sad is that? Haha.
Levi (my cat) is adapting well. I was concerned about how he'd do with my grandma's cat because he hasn't been around other animals. My grandma's cat is a killer cat. It's like 20 pounds of straight muscle with the sharpest claws ever and kills (and eats) birds as a hobby. Well Levi and this killer cat are actually friends. They chase each other around the house and play. When I go to bed and shut the door, killer cat sleeps outside the door and they play with their paws under the door. And killer cat meows in the morning for Levi to come out and play. It's so cute. :)
Well that's about it for now. I'm going to be job applying like crazy this week, wish me luck! If I could just get an interview I feel like I would have some hope.
