Training plan

I met with Coach Jen today. She put together my training plan for my Ironman back in 2013; following her plan,I felt ready to race a month before my event. I view the Dirty Kanza as equal, and possibly more challenging, than an Ironman. She normally charges $60 a month for training, or for a $100 donation to team in training, she will put together a 4 month training plan for me.

We went over my work schedule, days and times I would be availblw to train. The result of our meeting today will be starting in March she will give me a day by day schedule to follow. It will tell me either how many miles to ride or how much time to spend on my bike. It will include resistance training, yoga, swimming, mountain biking, gravel riding and time on my road bike.

I took 2015 off from big races because I was slacking off on following my planned training. I think the break was good because today I am super excited about the DK200.
