Just sitting at my parents' house right now getting my "Internet fix" until I get my laptop's connection hooked up at my house. This has been a crazy-busy week for me. Last weekend I was moving while fighting off a sinus infection and have been settling in for the past few days.
I really like my place. My roommates are all so cool and it's just nice to have my own space. Everyone is welcome to come over at anytime. I'm sure we will have some sort of house-warming when we get all settled in. More on that as plans solidify.
I've been working very hard lately to try get my life organized. I've always lived in what I like to call "organized chaos." Which means I can usually find things or know what the general area of the room they might be in. Many times my mail will sit for months in stacks of unopened envelopes and my clothes stuffed into my dresser or laying in piles on the floor. I'm ready for a change and have been working on arranging my room in a way that will be easy to keep clean. So far so good but who knows how long I can keep it up.
New developments at my work will soon have me editing audio and formatting our podcasts. My boss approached me on Thursday and asked me if I wanted to edit. I believe we will launch our first podcasts sometime next week so I have to learn how to use two new audio editing programs. I'm excited to begin a new venture and expand my knowledge in a new field.
All in all, things are going very well. Though my mind, body and spirit have been in constant recovery mode for awhile, I'm optimistic about the direction my life is going at this moment in time.
