I just gave blood for the first time, yay go me. They had to take it out of my left arm because, apparently the vein in my right arm isn't very obvious. argh! I can't type like this! I cant move my left arm because it stings and I also have a plaster on my right hand middle finger where they tested my iron level (which, if you care, is very high). ( Read more... )

Not as far as I know, I think it just means I have a high blood count. It's funny I only had tests for anaemia earlier this year, I shouldn't have bothered XD

I did the same when I went to get a blood test for the first time, there's just something about having needles stuck into a major blood vessel that gets me. I think I freaked them out because I was all nervous then I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and was like a completely different person, I'm Ryuichi! I just lay there and talked to my mum about the flat, and I filled the bag really quickly (less than 8 minutes) then I had to lie there for 10 before getting a squash and crisps. I'm hardly invincible, when we were dissecting stuff I couldn't touch the locusts or the eyes XS But snakes are way cool, do not diss =< Did you know I have to buy my own dissecting kit for Uni?

Urm, it's not that good. A fan following? OMGScary I hope we don't disappoint them, we should come up with poses!

I do T_T why do they select me for these things? I haven't done anything to benefit the community and I win the community service award, yet I don't win the science award. I swear they pick these awards out of a hat!

OMG long message!

omg you just had to lie there all connected to a bag while it drained your blood.

...

;-;

I'm not dissing the snakes! I just needed an example of something a lot of people are scared of that you're not... yeah well YOU CAN'T DISSECT ME I QUIT

I bet it is, you said that about the sailor tops and they were awesome :D You just need your wig and stuff for the finishing touches and I'm sure you'll change your mind. All the girls on there seem to be Nekozawa and Tamaki fangirls... we really need to enter the masquerade now and see if we get fangirl screams like Kaiba did last time! Oh yeah and we only need to fill out one form between us, advance entry opens on the website at some point in the future and if I e-mail it to them before the deadline then we should be in. Also you can enter both days if it's different costumes, so if you want to do Azudai too, and Steph and Becca want to...

Shut up you've been like the only faithful committee member, you were the treasurer, you were involved in both wacky weeks, you've helped in classes, done litter picks and omg you are SUPER WOMAN. I think they had more than enough reason to give it to you =P

OMG long massage!

It's not as bad as it sounds, you don't feel anything except when they put the needle in which is just like an injection and lie there. I even got bored and was humming and moving my foot in time with the music they had playing. The scariest part after that was the fact that it was in the catholic church hall and you lay there knowing that there are statues of Jesus and various saints right next door. I don't know why it scared me, just did.

>> fine

the cape's not completely done, I still have to do the poppers and maybe some finishing in the armholes if I have time, but I don't need to because they're covered by the capelet so you can't see them. But all the heavy sewing which I have to do at the flat is done so yay. After that I can show it to you. Entering on both days is cool, as are fangirly screams, but I have to enter after all the work I'm putting in. I still have to sew the skirts T_T thank god I don't start for another few weeks.

It's not like most of those involved actual work and... superwoman?

O.o...

You had a spiritual experience! I congratulate you. Either that or it was just that churches can be really creepy. I mean I'm an atheist, but I can't go into a church without feeling all 'omg God is watching me, must be good'.

... I just said omg while talking about God, yay for blasphemy?

<3

Okay so they might not have involved doing much, but it was still stuff you did off your own back in your own time and the long list looks impressive.

:D!

Churches are scary, I go there - not often, but sometimes because my mum's dad's family are catholic and I go to their first communions and confirmations and stuff. I'm the same, like when we went to St Alban's; I felt so wierd going into the cathedral and I didn't feel like I had any justification for going in. You know, a couple of hundred years ago omg would be swearing and a couple of thousand years ago you could have been stoned for it. Yay for blasphemy. Speaking of blasphemy, did you read the comments on the abridged series after he says 'Yu-gi-oh disproves creationism' or something like that, and someone comments saying that he should be more sensitive because they believe in creationism and were insulted by what he said thereby sparking a very short but interesting not-quite-debate about creationism? People had really deep opinions.

<3 and the cat costumes nearly done now, yay!

It is an impressive list, and it reminds me of 2 things 1) I won't be going to salsa because that's when the award thing is 2) I really need to return the treasurer book ^^' The litter pick was the hardest bit, and - not that I wanted recognition, but no one even said thankyou T_T

=x!
