(no subject)
I just gave blood for the first time, yay go me. They had to take it out of my left arm because, apparently the vein in my right arm isn't very obvious. argh! I can't type like this! I cant move my left arm because it stings and I also have a plaster on my right hand middle finger where they tested my iron level (which, if you care, is very high). The nurses were very worried about me before I did it because I was very nervous and apparently hyperventilating; they tried to stop me doing it because they were so concerned about the likelihood of me fainting, but I didn't and all was well. Once the needle was in I was fine and relaxed but all I could think about was this horror story the Mrs Gilmore had told us about when she gave blood, butI wont go into that here in case it puts anyone else off.
Ive been sewing for the past two days since the flat was empty and have finished the Nekozawa costume and started to cut out the cat costume, but that has to be put on hold because the electrician is coming in to change the sockets. Bah! I will finish these costumes!
