Oh man I have skills. After wrestling my old compy for an hour to load properly, not freeze, and run the transfer cable software, I turn to my lappy to discover that I have some how lost part of my cd/dvd rom program or software. When I put a disk in the drive it whirrs, the light blinks and then nothing. When I go into windows programs it tells me part of it is missing but that the software is up to date, so fun times there. If any one knows how to get matshita dvd-ram uj-842 ata device stuff or how to fix this I would be fascinated to know. Otherwise I get to try lenovo chat tech services tomorrow. Now why am I up at 2 am watching the da vinci code and staring at my lappys problem that I have no way of solving on my own? I have no clue.
