Holy God, some people are boring.
*pretends not to notice the irony*
Anyway, my life = awesome right now, for no particular reason whatsoever. I enjoy my classes, which is good considering that I'm reading Benjamin Franklin's autobiography.
I also had a near breakdown at work last week because of the overscheduling. Normally all those hours wouldn't be a problem, except that I had no free time at all. I was getting off of school and going straight to work, and not having one day off between the two. It's just not worth it, and they changed everything just because I said so. (Actually, I think my voice cracked and I might have looked a little bit pissed and upset, so perhaps that was what got them to lower the hours and not my negotiating skillz.)
On the other hand, I bought this bookcase that went on sale at Wal-Mart so that my room could have some semblance of being put together despite my not having a bed frame. But I put the damn thing together incorrectly, and I had to rip apart parts of it, because it was nailed in. It leans to the side, and I have a plastic Rubbermaid dresser (College Chic) next to it so that it won't fall apart at the seams. What this means is: I read the directions, I followed along carefully, but I am also a dumbass and DID IT WRONG ANYWAY.
To console myself I bought a cute lamp which required no putting together of at all, except screwing in a light bulb. Then I went to bed and had a dream of a blonde British woman trying to explain how to make some awesome wine out of a guava, and then using the skin of the fruit to make a purse. The entire time she was explaining it I was thinking, That's not guava, that's avacado.
In conclusion: The Home and Garden Channel is not good for your health.
